At Beesure, placing community at the heart of what we do isn’t just a corporate tagline, it’s fundamental to who we are. Every year, our team steps away from the spreadsheets to dedicate time, energy, and resources to an annual charity initiative. Giving back to causes and charities close to our hearts is a core part of the Beesure culture, uniting our team, our clients, and our wider network behind a shared purpose.
This year, however, our annual challenge hit remarkably close to home.
When the Beesure team laced up our hiking boots for the Black Mountains Challenge, we did it with one clear purpose: to support our friend Luke Rossiter, as he turns an unimaginable personal battle into a message of hope.
For us, this mission goes far deeper than business or a charity event. Our directors, Luis Jackson and Matthew Jackson DipFA, have known Luke for over 30 years. As a local firm, many of our team attended school together and have navigated friendship from childhood through to adulthood, supporting one another both professionally and personally.
When Luke was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer in December of last year, it shook all of us. He underwent intensive treatment, and we were thrilled when he was finally able to ring the bell in May 2026.
Throughout the toughest days of his treatment, Luke held onto a monumental dream: sailing solo across the Atlantic Ocean. His goal is to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and REST, while showing his two children what true resilience looks like.

A Huge Thank You!
Crossing the Atlantic Ocean alone demands immense physical endurance and mental fortitude. While Luke prepares for the physical challenge at sea, we have been blown away by the response on dry land.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our network, clients, and local community, from those who joined us in the Black Mountains to those who have donated online, we are thrilled to share that this cause has raised over £32,000 so far, bringing us steadily closer to the £40,000 target.
The funds raised are split purposefully:

40% supports Cancer Research UK – the research that turns a diagnosis into a plan.

30% supports REST – (Repatriation Services Trust), which brings people home to their families when the worst happens far from home.

30% helps fund the practical safety, equipment, and logistics required for the solo Atlantic crossing itself.
Every contribution, whether a donation, a share on social media, or words of encouragement, brings Luke one step closer to making this voyage possible.
